When you go to your boss to tell her that you'd like three months off to walk the South Island and she asks you if you're doing it for a good cause you'd better think quick.

Er...Fred Hollows...um...The Leprosy Mission...jeez...they're good causes but...

It worked - and here we are - walking for Whio. We've compiled a bit of stuff about Whio on this page for you, so feel free to have a read. We hope to talk to some South Island Whio people on the walk and will add our observations to the blog as we go.
